Product Designer Kitty Kahane
Kitty Kahane is a well-known illustrator, designer and painter living in Berlin. Following her studies, Kitty Kahane rose to fame with her collections for carpets (JAB) and designs for porcelain (Rosenthal). Her unusual illustrations of annual reports (Harpen AG, Deutsche Ausgleichsbank) she was awarded several prizes.
'Kitty Kahane's Funny Fish Food', published by Mary Hahn Publishers was prized one of the most beautiful books in 2000; followed by 'Kitty Kahane's Christmas Cooking' in 2003. Other books and calendars were published by ArsEdition, Brockhaus (artists edition 'Großes Meyers Taschenlexikon'), and by F. A. Ackermanns Kunstverlag.
Kitty Kahane's exhibitions could be viewed in Berlin, Paris, Hanover, Frankfurt, Cologne, Luxembourg and Zurich.
